Book Review: Fearless by Max Lucado
Fearless is a book that has been written for such a time as this when the world seems to be overwhelmed with fear and worry.
In this, Max Lucado’s new book, he tackles a complex subject that is extremely relevant to us all, he breaks it down in to bite size chunks that are easy to digest and inspires courage and hope – it is such a compelling read it is difficult to put down. In his poetic and lyrical style Max covers topics such as fear of the future, fear of overwhelming challenges and fear of not mattering, making this book an essential read for anyone who has ever felt overwhelmed by life.
From page one Max captures your attention with a story of his brother who in his darkest hour optimised fearlessness, his book is not an academic text that deals with intellectual debate on fear, rather it takes you on a heart-felt journey of change and like his books that have gone before it does not disappoint.
Max Lucado is a rare talent who is able to bring issues alive with his unique fusion of well researched ideas, elaborate story telling, personal experience and biblical truths.
